Ingredients:
- 1 oz fresh brewed espresso
- ½ oz simple syrup
- ½ oz coffee liqueur
- 1½ oz aquavit
- 2 dashes chocolate bitters
Garnish: coffee beans
Glassware: Chilled coupe

Method
Combine all ingredients in a shaker, add one large cube, and shake hard for a solid 30s or more. Strain into a chilled coup and gently place the coffee beans on the foam as garnish.

I used an espresso with very nutty notes and it paired very well with the aquavit. Sour espresso might require a more generous pour of simple.
